We moved into a very modern model home in July. Although it is beautiful, we did not choose the finishes and it is unlivable for a young family like ours. So the process of decorating begins. I started by switching out the light fixtures in the living room and dinning room to give it a slightly more formal feel. While I LOVE the black lights with crystal pendants hanging down, it emphasized the white walls even more. That means it is time to paint! Rather than go on vacation this Christmas, we've hired painters. With the super-high ceilings, we felt this job was better left to the pro's. Here are some before and afters.
